Grady O. Wray, age 63, of 211 Fiddlers Branch Road, Hampton, Tennessee, died Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Franklin, Tennessee but had lived in the Johnson City area for the past 33 years. He was the son of the late Grady O. Wray, Sr. and the late Eva Wells Wray. Mr. Wray had been the manager of field services for the Tennessee Bureau of Environment/Air Pollution Control. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. degree in biology. He was a member of the Sierra Club and the National Wildlife Federation. He is survived by his wife, Noreen Harrington Wray, one son, Caleb Wray, Jersey City, N.J.; one daughter, Erin Wray, Seal Beach, California; four sisters, Peggy Wilson, Nashville, Janice Jordan, Franklin, Nancy Smith, Nashville and Debbie Greer, Franklin. Memorial services for Mr. Wray will be conducted Wednesday, March 9th at 6:00 PM at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Father Gael Stahl will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 until 6 PM on Wednesday.
