Gwendolyn Clark Curtis

Gwendolyn 'Doe'? Clark Curtis, 91, of Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Appalachian Christian Village. She was a native of Johnson City and a daughter of the late Horace Greeley and Lena Lacy Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Curtis after 29 years of marriage. She was also preceded by two sisters, Frances Clark Miller and Clarice Clark Gray and by one brother, Greeley Lacy Clark. She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Jonesborough. Gwendolyn had retired from Johnson City Pediatrics as Office Manager after 25 years of service. Survivors include; one son, Ken Curtis of Johnson City; one sister, June C. Erwin of Jonesborough; one sister in law, Julia Clark of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Dr. Edward Fine will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
