Harlis Lee Cox

Harlis Lee Cox, 85, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Brookdale Colonial Heights.

Harlis enjoyed horseback riding and tending to his farm. He was an avid gardener and found pleasure in doing jobs around the house and for others. He was a constant tinkerer who could fix just about anything.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 62 years, Rosalie Berry Cox; son, Stacy and wife, Sara Catron-Cox; grandson, Harrison Kincaid and wife, Ashleigh; granddaughter, Onise Cox; great-granddaughter, Ellie Anne Kincaid; sister, Mamie Marie Short; special nephew, Bobby Hite; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private committal service was held at Washington County Memory Gardens.
