Harold Edward Brimer

February 25, 1931 — November 22, 2012

Harold Edward Brimer, 81, formerly of Johnson City, died Thursday, November 27, 2012 at the Bristol Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was a native of Johnson City and had lived most of his life in Johnson City, son of the late Walter Kenneth and Nellie Esther Wright Brimer. Harold was a retired member of the United States Marine Corps and had worked in the food industry. He was a member of the Tacoma Church of God. In addition to his parents, two brothers David R. Brimer, Eugene H. Brimer and a sister Kathleen Ward preceded him in death. Survivors include: three brothers, Robert C. and Alvin H. Brimer; four sisters, Patsy A. Willis, Margaret Whaley, Carolyn M. Pooley and Judy L. Wheeler; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Mountain Home National Cemetery, under the direction of Pastor Anthony Harris. Military Honors are to be accorded by the Boone Dam VFW and the Tennessee National Guard. Friends and family are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
