Harold Franklin Brown, 82, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2015. He died peacefully at the home he shared with his daughter, Becky, in Johnson City, Tennessee. Born April 15, 1933 in Bristol, Tennessee, Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Stuart and Annie Brown; sister, Betty Brown Campbell; and brother, James Albert Brown. Harold served in the United States Army in Fort Benning, Georgia. He later owned Harold?s Trim Shop in Bristol where he did quality upholstery work for over 40 years. Harold is survived by: his brother, Edward Brown, of Bristol, TN; sister, Debbie Nester, of Deland, FL; son, Harold Brown, Jr. and wife Elgenna, of Bristol, TN; daughter, Becky Brown Webb and Bob McFadden; son, Aaron Brown and wife Lori, of Bristol, TN; daughter, Stephanie Brown Temple and husband Billy, of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Ashley and Bryson Brown; special niece, Susie Wingate; and several other nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:30 pm Friday, June 26, 2015 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 225 Princeton Rd., Johnson City, TN, with Pastor Gerald Casson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church or The Boys and Girls Club of Johnson City/Washington County, 2210 W. Market St., Johnson City, TN 37604.
