Hazel A. Miller, 45, Hampton, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Johnson City Medical Center. Ms. Miller was a Washington County native, and is the daughter of David Loren and Kathy Miller Thorton. Ms. Miller worked for DoubleTree for eight years. Ms. Miller?s favorite thing to do was babysitting her grandbaby. Ms. Miller is preceded in death by: one infant daughter, Jennifer McInturff; grandfather, Charlie Miller; grandmother, Hazel Miller; uncles, Bill and Archie Miller; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she is survived by: four children, Michael C. Miller, Jeffery L. Miller, Jacob Ray Potter, and Brian Keith Potter, Jr.; one grandchild, Isiah Emmanuel Miller; one sister, Diane Anderson; one brother, Carl S. Dixon, Jr.; two ex-husbands, Jeff McInturff and Brian Keith Potter, Sr.; special friends, Sandra Bradley, Felicia Ransome, and Jason Kelley; dog, Annabelle; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family of Hazel Miller will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Morris-Baker. A committal service will immediately follow at Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Jeff McInturff, Jacob Ray Potter, Brian Keith Potter, Jr., Gordon Silvers, Jr., Charlie Hopson, and Timothy Hopson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jacob Ray Potter and Brian Keith Potter, Jr. at 2030 Vance Tank Rd. Lot 38, Bluff City, TN 37618.
