Hazel Marie Hilbert, 62, Johnson City, died Monday, May 4, 2009 at Northside Hospital. Mrs. Hilbert was a native and lifelong resident Washington County. She was a daughter of the late William B. and Beatrice Dunn Greer. Mrs. Hilbert was a loving homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Walnut Christian Church. Mrs. Hilbert leaves her husband, Jerry W. Hilbert, Sr.; one son, Jerry Hilbert, Jr. and his wife, Lori, Elizabethton; one daughter, Ginger Durbin and her husband, David, Telford; four grand children, Amber and Brittany Hilbert and Austin and Dalton Durbin; three sisters, Brenda Buck and her husband, Arthur, Johnson City, Vicki Moody and her husband, Gary, Johnson City and Teresa Davidson, Johnson City and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Hilbert will be conducted at 8 PM Thursday, May 7, 2009 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Brother Tim Carlson will officiate. Music will be provided by Kris Carlson. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Friday at Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Hyatt, Gary Moody II, Billy Davidson, Rusty Davidson, Ken Conner, Tom Shelton, Bobby Durbin, Michael Durbin, Randy Durbin, Tom Wilson and Thomas Wilson. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home and at other times a the home of Gary and Vicki Moody, 110 Miner Circle, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Walnut Christian Church, 2318 South Greenwood Drive, Johnson City, TN 37604.
