Heinrich "Heinz" G Watkins, 74, of Mountain City TN, on July 23, 2024 He went to his forever home in Heaven. He never met a stranger, and would share the gospel with whom ever would listen. He always put everyone before his needs. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 20 years.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Becky Watkins married 54 years, and their children: Christi Clark (Jack), Crystal Freeman (Jim), Matthew Watkins, and Benjamin Watkins, six grandchildren Michael Freeman, Adam Freeman, Abigail Smith (Nate), Morgan Freeman, Brittany Clark, and Dainel Clark, two great grandchildren Harper Smith, Walker Smith, three brothers Gary Watkins (Shari), Tim Watkins (Susan), Ed Watkins (Lisa), and sister Tina Iannone (Rob). Heinz will be deeply missed by all who knew him, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Heinrich was preceded in death by: Parents Joel Watkins & Annalouise Watkins, two sisters Margaret Gambill, Lisa Harris.
Visitation will be held Thursday August 1, 2024 from 11 to 12 noon at Kingsport Sovereign Grace Church. Service will be held following the visitation at noon. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Home National Cemetery. Pastor Gabe Stalnaker to officiate all services. Heinz may have left this world, but his legacy and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
