Helen B. Rossman

Helen B. Rossman, 96, Johnson City, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018, at NHC HealthCare. Helen was born in Minpro, NC to the late G.H. Glass and Lockie Buchannan Glass. Helen was a member of North Johnson City Baptist Church for over 40 years. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by: her husband, George Rossman; two sisters, Grace Taylor and Chris Biggerstaff; and three brothers, Ray, Bob and George Glass. Survivors include: one son, Gary R. Rossman and his wife Julie; one sister, Doctor Ruth Glass; one grandson, Matthew Rossman and his wife Rebecca; two great grandchildren, Kailee and Levi Rossman; and several nieces and nephews. The family of Helen Rossman will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday, February 23, 2018, at Morris-Baker. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor Matthew Rossman officiating. A committal service will be held Saturday at Pine Branch Church Cemetery in Spruce Pine, NC at 10:00 AM. Family and friends are asked to meet there by 9:50 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Johnson City Baptist Church, 305 Ferndale Road, Johnson City, TN 37604.
