Helen Louise Bacon

Helen Louise Bacon, 76, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Bacon was a Johnson City native and had lived in Elizabethton for the past 25 years. She was a daughter of the late Marion and Victoria Markland Willis and was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Bacon was a former employee of Life and Causality Life Insurance Company. She was a Presbyterian and a member of the Nolichucky/Grandview Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Bacon was survived by her husband, Clyde Bacon; one son, David A. Bacon and his wife, Judy, Bluff City; three grandchildren, Brandi Parsons, Kimberly Ensor and Katie Bacon; two great grandchildren, Abigail Parsons and Reagan Ensor; two brothers, Bill Willis, Willis, Michigan and George Willis, Ft. Worth, TX and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Bacon will be conducted at 1:30 PM Saturday, January 13, 2007 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Pastor Allen Campbell will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Marion Willis, Danny Willis, Larry Bacon, Steve Adams, Tony Kiesel, Mike Nugent and Michael Willis. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
