Helen 'Sue' Presnell Jenkins, age 73 of 2705 McKinley Park #4, Johnson City, Tennessee died Monday, April 2, 2007 in the Johnson City Medical Center.Mrs. Jenkins was a native of Elk Park, NC and a daughter of the late Harmon and the late Grace Guinn Presnell.She was a retired line operator with Southeast Industries.Mrs. Jenkins was a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and more recently attended the New Harvest Missionary Baptist Church.She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, a best friend and a buddy.Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Jenkins on February 22, 2007, a son, Larry Jenkins and a sister Hazel Lambert. Survivors include five sons, Steve Jenkins, Randy Jenkins, Ricky Jenkins, Danny Jenkins, and Shawn Jenkins; two daughters, Dawn Hill and Denise Tesnear; three brothers, Paul Presnell of Elizabethton, Billy Presnell and his wife Pat, Sherrill Presnell; one sister, Grace Reed and her husband Rev. Phil Reed all of Johnson City; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service for Helen 'Sue' Presnell Jenkins will be conducted at 8 PM Thursday, April 5, 2007 in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Rev. Gary Hill and Rev. Phil Reed will officiate.The graveside service will be conducted at 2 PM Friday in the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 1:00 PM to go in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Shawn Jenkins, Randy Jenkins, Randy Jenkins (grandson), Phillip Tesnear, Steve Jenkins, Brandon Hill and Rick Jenkins. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Thursday prior to the service.
