Helen Snyder

Mrs. Helen Snyder, 92, Johnson City, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017, at Life Care Center of Gray. She was the daughter of the late Walter B. Higgins and Geneva Guthrie. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by: her husband, MSgt. Bruce A. Snyder, USAF, retired; two daughters, Mary Lou Eller and Vickie Leach; one son, Bruce A. Snyder, Jr.; and one brother, Buddy Higgins. Mrs. Snyder retired from Peerless. She was a fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Tennessee Lady Vols. She also enjoyed watching Dr. Charles Stanley and reading her Bible. Mrs. Snyder was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: one son, Kenneth D. Snyder and his wife Janice of Jonesborough; one daughter-in-law, Linda Snyder; grandchildren, Patricia Echols, Mark Eller, Bruce A. Snyder III and his wife Tiffany, Michael Snyder, and Michael Leach and his wife Michelle. The family of Mrs. Helen Snyder would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Gray for their care and compassion. A committal service will be held Friday, December 8, 2017, at 3:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:50 PM Friday.
