Henry Joseph Henglein

July 7, 1932 — March 10, 2023

Henry J. “Harry” Henglein, 90, of Bristol, Tennessee, passed away on March 10, 2023. He was born July 7, 1932, in Ridgewood, Queens, New York, New York.


He is survived by his sons, Hal and Keith, and special friend, Vandola Mitchell.


He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later enjoyed a long career in the computer industry. Harry loved the outdoors, and his other interests included photography, ballroom dancing, Big Band music, watching old movies and tv shows, basketball, bowling, model railroading, and keeping tropical fish.


There will be a committal service at 9:00 am on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic section). Military honors will be provided by the Tennessee Army National Guard Military Funeral Honors and Boone Dam VFW Post 4933. Please meet at the cemetery by 8:50 am.
