Henry Kay Davis, 59, of Johnson City, died at his residence on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. He was a native of Kingsport, son of the late John W. and Dana Virginia Hall Davis. Henry was a retired truck driver for the Sullivan County Road Department. He attended the McKinley Bible Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: four brothers, Bob, Donnie, Jack and Roger Davis; four sisters, Pauline Nickles, Judy Ford, Shella White and Dolores Chandler. Survivors include: a son, Henry Kay Davis, Jr. of Fall Branch; a daughter, Judy Burson of Blountville; four brothers, J. W. Davis of Jonesborough, Charlie Davis, Sr. of Johnson City, James H. Davis of Piney Flats and Terry Mark Davis of Johnson City; a sister, Etta Sue Cooter of Greeneville; four grandchildren, Brandon, Bradley and Nathan Carrico and Madison Davis; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Davis is to be cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled at his church at a later date.
