Herbert Henry Ferguson

Herbert Henry Ferguson, 70, 810 Briarcliff Road, passed away suddenly, July 1, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Ferguson was a native of Washington County and a former resident of Aurora, Illinois. He was a son of the late Herbert and Nellie Crawford Ferguson and was also preceded in death by one sister, Mabel Miller and one brother-in-law, Lee Miller. Mr. Ferguson was a US Navy veteran. He attended Harvest Times Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Louise Pealer Ferguson; step-children, Michael Robertson, Randy Robertson, Cindy Robertson, Brenda Robertson and her husband, Roger all of Johnson City; four sisters, Lorraine Schwartz, TX, Martha Lisiotis and her husband, Jim, IL, Suzanne Kiper and her husband Jack, FL, Sidney Buckner and her husband, John, NC and Gerri Ilseman and her husband Harry, IL; five brothers, Dana Ferguson and his wife, Carolyn, Boones Creek, David Ferguson and his wife, Julie, WVA, Paul Ferguson, and his wife, Carol, Clarksville, Allen Ferguson and his wife, Jan, Missouri and Dale Ferguson and his wife, Veronica, IL and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mr. Ferguson will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Reverend George Higgins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
