Howard Alan Nickles

Howard A. Nickles, age 66, of Johnson City, died Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native and life long resident of Washington County and was a son of the late Pauline Whaley and Howard Alan Nickles. He was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Nickles was preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Nickles. Survivors include: his wife, Carolyn Nickles, Johnson City, TN; three sons, Ricky, Bobby, and Brian Nickles, all of Johnson City, TN; three daughters, Tiffany and Tina Nickles and Candy Cordova, all of Johnson City, TN; three brothers, Johnny Nickles, of Elkton, MD, Bud Nickles, of Johnson City, and Mike Nickles, Roan Mountain, TN; three sisters, Ethel Shipley, Columbia, SC, Rita Faye Kent and Donna Blakely, both of Johnson City, TN; Sixteen Grandchildren; Nine Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Hack Arnett, Jerry Williams, Joe Copas, and George Copas.
