Howe Henry Irwin, Jr.

Mr. Howe Henry Irwin, Jr., 72, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 29, 2015. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Howe, Sr. and Marjorie Irwin. He grew up in Oak Ridge, TN and spent his career with Oak Ridge Schools. He retired to Johnson City, TN where he had met his cherished wife, Sandra, at ETSU 49 years ago. Howe was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church in Johnson City. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his adored daughter, Sadie Irwin; grandson, Reid Kegley; sister, Rebecca (Karl) Morgan, of Indian Shores, FL; beloved sisters-in-law, Jean Briggs, of Candler, NC and Janet (Pete) McMilion, of Unicoi, TN; and brother-in-law, Ricky Briggs, of Unicoi, TN. A private family memorial service led by Pete McMilion was held at Roselawn Memorial Park on Thursday, April 2, 2015.
