Hubert C. Hensley

Mr. Hubert Cornelius Hensley, 92, formerly of Knob Creek Road, Johnson City, went to his heavenly home December 25, 2011 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was the son of the late Frank and Lydia Hensley. He worked for the Pepsi Cola Company for 34 years and part of that time as plant manager. He was a loving husband and devoted member of East Unaka Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Helen Vanhuss Hensley; brothers Ralph, Albert, and Hardy Hensley; sisters Charlotte Hensley, Rubinell Hensley, Martha Smith, Grace Ayers, and Thelma Hurley. He is survived by a brother Ross Hensley and wife Viola of Johnson City; a sister Jo Fortner and husband George of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 10:00-11:00am at Morris Baker Funeral Home. Services will follow, 11:00am, at Morris Baker Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Dr. Wayne Emery and Lamar Garrison will be officiating.
