Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me. I. David 'Dave'? Ingram, age 76, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at his residence. He was the son the late Dewey Ingram, Sr. and Mae Street Ingram. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife and best friend Shelby Ingram, whose love and care helped him through so many difficult times. One loving son, Jonathan D. Ingram, MD of Lafayette, LA.; one brother, William Ingram and wife Shirley; two sisters, Lois Ingram Shaffer and husband Clyde, and Joyce Ingram; several nieces and nephews; one special nephew, Jerry Jenkins and wife Rachel. Mr. Ingram was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Johnson City. An avid conservationist, hiker and white water paddlers, he belonged to several organizations supporting those activities. An ambition of his was to write an account on 'Rivers an rocks in those rivers that have known me.'? To all my fellow paddlers and hikers, I will see you on the other side waiting at the 'put in.'? The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Dr. Angela Dispenzieri of the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Ray Lamb and Dr. Brian Nerren of Johnson City, TN.
