Idell Campbell Henley

Idell Campbell Henley, age 81 of the Lakebridge Health Care Center passed away there Wednesday, December 21, 2011. She was a native of Roan Mountain, TN and a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Minnie Jane Miller Campbell. She was also preceded in death by three brothers Robert, Charles, and Andy Campbell and by one sister Bobbie Tatum. She was a long time member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Johnson City where she had served in the Nursery for many years. She is survived by her husband; Anderson Henley of Johnson City; one son Tim Henley and his wife Marilyn of Leechburg, PA; one daughter Trina Sydnor and her husband Tim of Cary, NC; six grandchildren Aaron, Zach, Luke, and Eli Henley, Chelsea and Brian Sydnor; one brother Jay Campbell of Mobile, AL; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Rev. Pete Tackett will officiate. Graveside services will be held in the Monte Vista Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday. A procession will leave the funeral home for the cemetery at 10:45 a.m., Wednesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday. In lieu of flowers , memorial donations may be made to Antoichy Baptist Church, 1014 Antoich Road, Johnson City, TN 37604.
