Idell Milligan Frazier

Idell Milligan Frazier 99, passed in the early morning of August 12, 2008 at Lakebridge Healthcare Center. Mrs. Frazier was born September 18, 1908 in Nashville TN. It was here that she met and fell in love with her late husband Ben C. Frazier. They moved to Johnson City TN in 1940. She was an extremely talented seamstress and furrier. She worked for Kings Department Store and Massengills. She was an active member of the Senior Sunday School Class at Central Baptist Church where she acted as Treasurer for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bedford Milligan and Sarah Reed Milligan, her husband Ben C. Frazier, sister, Daisy Bell, brother, Hildred H Milligan and daughter in law, Paula Edgeworth Frazier. She is survived by her son David R. Frazier, his wife Cynthia of Johnson City, and granddaughter Shannon Frazier of Gray. David, Cindy and Shannon would like to thank the Staff of Broadmore Assisted Living, Wellington Place of Colonial Heights, Lakebridge Healthcare and Caris Hospice for the care they have provided in her final years. God has 99 years of stories he is eager to hear and we are at peace knowing she is with Him. Donations can be made to Central Baptist Church in lieu of flowers. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service, which will be held at 10:00am,Tuesday, August 19, at Monte Vista Memorial Gardens. Receiving of friends will take place at the graveside before and after the service..
