Isaac Anderson Henley

Isaac Anderson Henley, 84, of Johnson City, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Lakebridge Health Care Center. He was a native of Chuckey and was a son of Dosser and Laura Click Henley. Mr. Henley was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Idell Campbell Henley, five brothers, Vance, Phillip, Lloyd, Wilbert and Robert Henley, three sisters, Nola Henley, Ada Snapp and Kathleen Bowman. Mr. Henley was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He retired from Smith-Higgins Drug Company in 1992 after spending 39 years with the company. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors include; one son, Tim Henley and his wife, Marilyn of Leechburg, PA; one daughter Trina Sydnor and her husband Tim of Cary, NC; five Grandsons, Aaron, Zach, Luke and Eli Henley and Brian Sydnor; one Grand daughter, Chelsea Sydnor; one sister, Reba Broyles of Tuscaloosa, AL; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm Friday from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Pete Tackett will officiate. Burial services will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. A procession will leave the funeral home going to the cemetery at 10:45 am on Saturday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be sent to Antioch Baptist Church, 1014 Antioch Road, Johnson City, TN 37604.
