Iva Lee Gibson

Iva Lee Gibson, 78, of 282 Austin Springs Road, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Bob and Lula Shell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billie Joe Gibson in June of 2005 and by 5 sisters and 1 brother. Mrs. Gibson was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include; five daughters, Lynda Peters and her husband, Darrell of Gray, Kathy Fair and her husband, Jerry of Johnson City, Connie Dunbar and her husband Jerry of Limestone, Carolyn Woods and her husband, James of Ohio and Teresa Fay Greene of Jonesborough; nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Gibson will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday from the National Cemetery at Mountain Home. Rev. Don Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 1: 30 PM on Monday.
