Iva Lee Gray

Ms. Iva Lee Gray, age 90, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, in the Christian Care Center, Johnson City. Ms. Gray was a native of Valle Crucis, North Carolina who had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Grady Mast and Emma Estridge Mast. In addition to her parents three sisters, Eloise Stokes, Ann Humphreys and Margaret Crawford; two brothers, Dale Mast and Milton Mast also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Billy Gray and his wife Juanita and Michael Gray; one brother, Burl Mast; six grandsons; two great granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Ms. Iva Lee Gray will be conducted at 3 PM Sunday, December 1, 2013 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Mike Gray will officiate. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 10 AM Monday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 9:30 AM Monday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 PM Sunday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road Suite 102, Johnson City, TN 37601
