Ivan Harrison, Jr.

Mr. Ivan Harrison, Jr., age 90, of Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013, in the Appalachian Christian Village. Mr. Harrison was a native of Fostoria, Ohio. He was the son of the late Ivan Harrison, Sr. and Ruby Werner Harrison. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his wife, Marjorie, and his sister, Pauline Wilson. Mr. Harrison was a U.S. Marine veteran. He was retired from Delta Airlines, where he worked in Flight Control. Survivors include one son, Michael Harrison and his wife, Suzan; three daughters, Marsha Harrison, Mindy Newton, and Merri Wood-Schultz; one sister, Helen Whitaker; four grandchildren, Matthew Harrison, Katie Statland, Sarah Wood, and Miranda Newton; and two great grandchildren, Jacob Statland and Noah Statland. Memorial services will be held in Fostoria, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Red Cross.
