Mr. Jack E. Potter, 77, of Gray, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, August 13, 2012, at his home. A native of Jonesborough, he was the son of the late Estal and Pearl Shipley Potter. Mr. Potter was a member of East Unaka Christian Church and an avid golf enthusiast. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Jean Tucker Potter and his daughter Vicki Potter. He is survived by his son Ron and wife P. Potter of Cleveland, TN; two daughters, Gina Delany of Knoxville and K.P. Susan Potter of Gray; brother Gary Potter of Johnson City; two granddaughters, Amber Potter Montgomery and husband Clayton of Cleveland, TN and Paige Delany Draper and husband Lt. Phillip of Hawaii; two great granddaughters, Ella Grace Draper of Hawaii and Addison Montgomery of Cleveland, TN; and sister-in-law Norma Jean Tucker, of Johnson City. A Celebration of Life will be held, Friday, August 17, 2012, at Morris Baker Funeral Home at 7:00pm, with Pastor Jeff Vines and Dr. Wayne Emery officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until the time of the service at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, The Gideons International, P.O.
