Jacqueline "Jackie" Bawgus, age 74, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

Jackie, also affectionately known as "Bama," was born on May 18, 1949, in Cheverly, Maryland to the late William David and Elsie Mae Webster. She found her calling in life as a hairstylist, a passion and profession that she did from the age of 17 until 67. Many will affectionately remember Jackie's Styling Salon.

Jackie will always be remembered for her love of dancing, singing, shopping, dressing up and the special meals shared at her favorite restaurant, Red Lobster. She loved even more cooking and preparing meals for her family and friends.  She was a member of Clark Street Baptist Church where she also sang in the choir for many years. She also had a love for nature and animals, she especially enjoyed birdwatching. Her generosity was limitless, her home was always the place where everyone was welcome, a place where many brothers, nieces, nephews, grandkids as well as friends would call home in a time of need. Jackie’s devotion to her family, was most important to her. She was a true friend and mother to all.

Webster Sr. and Ethel "Grandmother Webster"; parents, William David Webster and Elsie Mae Webster-Woodson; brothers, Michael "Mickey" David Webster and John R. Woodson; special niece, Lisa Dawn Williams; and special yorkies, Scooter and Sweet Pea.
