Jacqueline Braithwaite Ramsey

Jacqueline Braithwaite Ramsey, 75, of Johnson City, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Asbury Place of Johnson City.She was a native of Philadelphia, PA but had raised her family in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Martha Kelly Braithwaite. She was also preceded in death by 1 son, Charles Noah Ramsey,1 brother, Thomas Braithwaite, Jr., 1 Grandson, Travis Lee Haws and 1 Great grandson, Devon William Haws.Mrs. Ramsey had worked for Holiday Inn for a number of years. Survivors include; two sons, Robert Ramsey of London ,England and Lenny Ramsey of Johnson City; one daughter, Martha Haws of Johnson City; seven Grandchildren, William Haws, Billie Jo Haws, Linda Lowe and Brandon Ramsey all of Johnson City, Elizabeth Ramsey, Stephanie Ramsey both of London, England and Jacquelynn Johnson of Gillingham England; six Great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Pelt of Panama City, FL and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the Morris-Baker South Chapel at 8:00pm Thursday, May 12, 2011. Rev. Kenneth Thacker will officiate. Burial will be held at 3:00pm Friday in the Washington County Memory Gardens. A procession going to the cemetery will leave the funeral home at 2:30pm on Friday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00pm on Thursday and other times at the home of Martha Haws, her daughter, 1407 E. Millard St., Johnson City.
