James Duncan Stultz, Jr., 58, Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 4, 2016, at his residence. He was the son of Doris B. Stultz, Johnson City, and the late James D. Stultz, Sr. Jim graduated from Science Hill High School in 1975, after which he attended ETSU and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He worked in the construction field for several years before proudly becoming a member of the United States Marine Corps in 1981. In addition to his father, Jim was preceded in death by a nephew, Marcus Hall. In addition to his mother, he is survived by: two beloved sons, Jake Stultz, Johnson City, and Spencer Stultz, and his wife Carolina, San Antonio, TX; sisters, Donna Stultz, Houston, TX, and Diane Hall, and her husband Rick, Lexington, SC; brother, Ed Stultz, and his wife Lacy, Johnson City; several nieces and nephews, Fabian Castro, Stephen Hall, and his wife Erica, Charlotte Hall, Preston Hall, Alaina Stultz, and Madelyn Stultz; and one great-niece, Madison Hall. A memorial service for James Duncan Stultz, Jr., will be conducted 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Grove-DeJarnett and the Rev. Dr. Mark Gooden officiating. The committal service will be conducted 10:00 AM Wednesday in the Mountain Home National Cemetery.
