Mr. James Dupkoski, 77, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at his home. A native of Johnson City, he was the son of the late Nicklos and Roberta Holland Dupkoski. James retired from Bolton Block Company after 37 years and loved camping, playing bluegrass music, and spending time with friends and family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Lois Harris; grandson Jamie Harris; sister Margeret Hughes; and brother Donald Dupkoski. He is survived by his loving wife Rosa Dupkoski of the home; two sons James Dupkoski of Johnson City and Allen Dupkoski of Morristown; grandsons Mark Dupkoski of Johnson City, Joshua Dupkoski of Mosheim, and Daniel Dupkoski; granddaughter Tashia Dupkoski of Mosheim; grandsons Matthew Dupkoski of Bulls Gap and Grandson Joseph Dupkoski of Johnson City; sisters Mary Groomes of Utah, Kathleen Bishop of California, Gererldine Rosser of North Carolina, Alice Dupkoski of Tennessee; brothers Bill and David Dupkoski, both of North Carolina, Raymond Dupkoski of Tennessee; and two great grandchildren Autumn and Marcus Mauk, of Tennessee. The family will receive friends, Saturday, April 7, 2012, 12-2:00pm, at Morris Baker Funeral Home with services immediately following at 2pm, with Pastor Terry Jones officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Garland Cemetery.
