James F. Campbell, 84, of 7442 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville,TN, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2008 in Knoxville,TN. James was born and raised in Washington County but had lived in Knoxville the past 18 years. James was in the service department with the Johnson City Power Board. Survivors include ; his former wife, Margie Nell Campbell of Johnson City; one daughter, Linda Richardson, Johnson City; four sons, Freddie Campbell of NC, Larry Campbell of Piney Flats, Ralph Campbell, Jonesborough and Terry Lee Campbell of Johnson City; one brother, Carl Hamm of Johnson City; one sister, Lucille Vance; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; his caregiver and companion, Reola Aldridge. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, three brothers and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, October, 19, 2008 from the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Burial will be in the Monte Vista Burial Park. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Saturday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Suite 102, Johnson City, TN 37601.
