James 'Jim'? Monroe Yelton, Jr., 76 of Gray died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at his residence. He was a native of Bad Creek, North Carolina, son of the late James Monroe Yelton, Sr. and Mae Hill Yelton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rosalie Owen Yelton and a son. Jim went to meet his maker. He believed in living his life by the Sermon on the Mount. His pastimes were: gardener, great philosopher and he enjoyed a good argument. He was a generous and charitable man and will be greatly missed. Survivors include: two children, two brothers, three sisters and four grandchildren, Jaime Yelton, Haley Yelton, Logan Kennedy and Parker Kennedy. There are no formal services for Mr. Yelton scheduled. Memorials may be made to the Second Harvest, 127 Dillon Ct., Gray, TN 37615.
