James Thomas Joseph “Jamie” Hall (AKA Mötley Crüe), age 53, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went home to be with “Jesus and his Daddy.” He left unexpectedly on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
He has joined the many that went on before him, including: parents, Birt “Tommy” Hall and Debrah Ellis Hall; grandparents, George and Betty Jo Hall, Robert and Mildred Ellis; aunts, Dorothy “Dot” Bittinger, Shirley Lawing; and uncle, Shawn Ellis; cousin, Wendy McKinney Kent; and his loyal doggie, Mr. Weezy Hall.
Jamie lived life to the fullest. He loved to travel, seeing many beautiful places with his wife at his side. He enjoyed spending his Sunday afternoons with family, friends, good food, and of course, Tom Brady & The Patriots. Jamie spent countless hours teaching himself to play the guitar, and it had a phenomenal payoff in skill. He also enjoyed fishing, and went when time and life permitted. He also loved cars, and collected several Corvettes after his dad gifted him the first one.
He was a loyal and faithful friend to many, and will be deeply missed. If you ever met Jamie you weren’t likely to forget his loud and beautiful personality, infectious laughter and smile, wicked sense of humor, and endless generosity.
He left behind to cherish his memory: wife, Tammy Tilson Hall; son, Matthew Hall (Alissa); step-children, Harlee Elliott and Paige Elliott (Marcus); granddaughter, Stori Hall; and step-grandchildren, Havenlee Elliott and Haiden Elliott; aunts, Donna Cox (Robert), Susan Carr, Tonia Hestor, Tina Hanson (Dan), Diane Queen (David); uncles, Richard Freeman, Robert Ellis (Kathy), and Raum Ellis; his best friend, Bobby Greene and his sons, Briar and Bentley; and multitude of cousins, friends, and extended family.
He attended The Rock Fellowship Church and was baptized by Pastor Randy Hensley.
The family of Jamie Hall will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will be held the same day at 11:00 AM at Washington County Memory Gardens. Those attending are asked to gather at the graveside by 10:50 AM.
Memorial contributions are directed to the family to help offset funeral expenses via the tribute fund link on his obituary page.
