James Wesley ?Turbo' Wright, II, 43, Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2018, after a long courageous fight with cancer. Wes will always be remembered for his infectious, beautiful smile, and sweet giving spirit. He never met a stranger and everybody he met he always told them he loved them. He could light up the room with his smile. Wes loved his racing Mustang friends and was very active in several car shows that he enjoyed with friends. Wes was of the Baptist faith. Wes was preceded in death by: his grandparents, John and Martha Eloise Dalton and Neal and Helen Wright. Survivors include: his mom, Trish and her husband Alan; girlfriend, Stacy Reece; brother, Adam Lee Wright and his children Keia and Kody Wright; one son, Casey Wright; one step sister, Anna McCoy; aunts and uncles, Hugh and Martha Campbell, Sue and Terry Cardwell, Hubert Dalton, Charles Dalton, Margaret Keys, Denise Henderson, Gail Howard, Sandy Van Dyke; and special friends, Jason and Lindsey Higgins. The family wishes to thank Dr. Frank Johnson and Ashley Seals, PA and all coworkers at Johnson City Internal Medicine, that have walked this walk with Wesley. The family of Wes Wright will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, January 15, 2018, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor David Dugger officiating. Active pallbearers include: Greg Wallace, Jason Higgins, Samuel Howard, Larry Ellgass, Josh Ottinger and Brian Wood. Honorary pallbearers include: Jay Jenkins, Lester Ward and Patrick Sells. Family and friends are asked to meet at Fairview Cemetery in Jonesborough at 10:50 AM on Tuesday for an 11:00 AM committal service.
