Janet Lea Fields

Janet Lea Fields, 55, of Unicoi, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 13, 2015 in the Unicoi County Memorial Hospital. Janet was a native of Johnson City. She was a daughter of Billy Grace, Sr. and Ernestine Bradshaw Grace. Janet was of the Baptist faith. She loved baking and had been a baker her whole life. Janet deeply loved her family and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Fields, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Alvin and Dorothy Mays; and paternal grandparents, Howard and Oma Grace. In addition to her parents, she is survived by: two children, Angela Newton and Jeffery Fields, Jr.; one grandson, Jonathan Newton; three sisters, Emori Barnes and her husband Eric, Alvina Ketron and her husband Jeff, and Suzanne Hunsinger and her husband Todd; very special brother, Billy Grace, Jr.; several nieces and nephews; and special pet, Patch. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm Sunday, January 24, 2016 in the Morris-Baker Oak Chapel.
