Janet M Hofmann

Janet M. Hofmann, age 76, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Hofmann was born in St. Paul, Virginia, a daughter of the late William J. and Magdalene Brewster Clark. She was a church member at the Salvation Army, a member of League of Mercy, Senior Center and Ladies Home League. Mrs. Hofmann was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur William Hofmann, Sr. Mrs. Hofmann is survived by one son, Arthur William Hofmann, Jr.; two daughters, Rita M. Hofmann-Murray and husband Charles and Amy Ann Barbour and husband Justin; five grandchildren, Tabitha Marie Holtsclaw, Arthur William Hofmann, III, Cody Daniel France, Kendall Marie France and Brandon Chase Murray; two great granddaughters, Kallie Jo Street and Bryanna Shae Holtsclaw; one brother, William Clark, Jr.; one sister, Kitty Russell Finley; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday evening, November 30, 2010 in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday morning, December 1, 2010 in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel with Reverend Jerry Davis officiating. Committal will follow in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
