Janice F. Sell, 60, of Piney Flats, died Friday at her residence. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late Walter and Helen Gibson Fox. Janice was a homemaker and was of the Brethren faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Miller, a granddaughter, Harley Cooper, two sisters, Linda Casey and Sheila Broyles; two brothers, Randy and Eddie Fox; her mother-in-law, Pauline Sell Graybeal. Survivors include: her husband, Johnny Sell of the home; a son, Shane Miller of Johnson City; two step-sons, Mike Sell and his wife Rebecca of Bluff City and Danny Sell; four sisters, Diane Grindstaff and Yvonne Coppage and husband Richard all of Jonesborough, Beverly Merritt of Piney Flats, Jenia Sayler and husband Scott of Greenville; two grandsons, Austin and Codey; five step-grandchildren, Jacob T., Makala, Jessie, Danielle and Chris; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A chapel service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 4:00 pm in the Mausoleum Chapel of the Monte Vista Memorial Park, under the direction of Rev. Randy Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be her family and friends. Memorials may be made to the Shriners at 1-800-241-gift.
