Jean B. Webb

Jean B. Webb, 85, of 2016 Sherwood Drive, Johnson City died Monday, May 5, 2008 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Webb was a native of Berwyn, PA and had lived in Johnson City since 1995. She was a daughter of the late Walter S. Beaver, Sr. and Clara Cook Beaver. Mrs. Webb was a homemaker and a member of the Central Church of Christ, Oakland Avenue, Johnson City. She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Lawrence E. Webb, Sr. in 2004; and two brothers, Walter S. Beaver, Jr. and Norman Earl Beaver. Survivors include: one daughter, Cathy Katras of Johnson City; one son, Larry Webb, Jr. and his wife Connie of Penhook, VA; one brother, Robert Beaver of Columbia, MD; five grandsons and wives, Matthew and Mary Katras, Mark Katras, Luke Katras, Jon Katras, Brandon and Stacie Webb; one granddaughter and husband, Jessica and Bryan Ayer; several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service for Jean B. Webb will be conducted at 3 PM Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the Central Church of Christ, 2722 E. Oakland Avenue, Johnson City. Mr. Tim Hall and Mr. Glann Lee, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 It was the request of Mrs. Webb that her body be donated to the Quillen College of Medicine.
