Jean S Lansche

Jean Lansche, 88, widow of the late Arnold M. Lansche, died peacefully at NHC Colonial Hills, Johnson City, TN on June 27, 2015. She was youngest child of the late Lorena Pannell and Leiter Slagle. Three brothers, Bruce, Joseph and Wayne Slagle and two sisters, Ruth Slagle Young and Mary Emma Slagle McBee, predecease Mrs. Lansche. Several nieces and nephews survive her. Mrs. Lansche?s love of history inspired her interest in genealogy and led her to membership of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She spent many hours searching courthouse records and passed the information and labeled photographs to younger generations. She and her husband enjoyed playing bridge and square dancing. A graveside service is to be conducted on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Roselawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Dr. Ron Murray. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:45am.
