Jeffrey Lynn Hampton

Mr. Jeffrey Lynn Hampton, age 62, of Johnson City, passed away from Leukemia at the Mountain Home VA Medical Center on Thursday, December 18, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Hampton; two brothers, Tim and Keith Hampton; aunt, Madge Campbell; and son, Matthew Hampton. Survivors include his mother, Lois Hampton; brother, Steve Hampton and his wife Martha; son, Marcus Hampton; daughter, Megan Davis and her husband Drew; cousin, David Campbell and his wife Amy; and several nieces and nephews. He was an ETSU alumni and enjoyed photography, but the things in life that meant the most to Jeff were also what he was most proud of his faith in God, his service in the US Army, and his family. A loving son, brother, father, and friend - he will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him. The family of Mr. Jeffrey Lynn Hampton will receive friends from 2-3 PM Friday, December 26, 2014, in the Morris-Baker Chapel. The memorial service will follow with Pastor Dan Foster officiating. He is to be buried at the Mountain Home National Cemetery, but there will not be a graveside service.
