Jennifer Ann Jones

Jennifer Ann Jones, 24, Piney Flats, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in the Johnson City Medical Center due to complications from pneumonia. She was the daughter of Eric and Bridget Lewis Jones. Jennifer was a member of the Boone Trail Baptist Church and loved Five L?s Ladies Ministry. She was a graduate of Sullivan East High School in 2009. She was nana?s special girl. Jennifer was preceded in death by her mamaw, Becky Lewis; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Bea Cole; and paternal grandfather, Claude N. Jones. She is survived by: parents, Eric and Bridget Lewis Jones; nana, Karen Cole; grandfather, Steve Jones and his wife Chris; great grandmother, Jewel Jones; special great aunt, Sharon Cole; great aunt, Nancy Hasty and her husband Joseph; aunts, Kristy Jones, Angel Oliver (Brad Beasley), Crystal Williams (Drew), and Chasity Lewis; uncle, Jeromy Jones; and many special cousins, aunts, and uncles. The family of Jennifer Ann Jones will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Friday, May 15, 2015, in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Dwight Jenkins officiating. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday, in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be: Jeromy Jones, Brandon Jones, William Medley, Jake Toney, Jason Painter, and Greg Chapman. Honorary pallbearers will be: Teroy Whistine and Jackie Whistine. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 AM Saturday to in procession to the cemetery.
