Jerry Ronald Marshall

Mr. Jerry Ronald Marshall, Sr., age 69, of Johnson City, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014, at his home. Jerry was a native and life long resident of Johnson City and the son of the late Milburn Elbert and Mary Ethel Sproles Marshall. In addition to his parents, his brother, JR Marshall, and sister, Dot Reed, also preceded him in death. Jerry most recently attended Upper Room Family Worship Center. He worked as a carpenter Survivors include: his wife, Brenda Whitson Marshall; one daughter, Tammy Bare and her husband Dewayne; three sons, Jerry Marshall, Jr., James Marshall, and Kenneth Marshall and his wife Tamelia; seven grandchildren, Travis Lee Marshall, Kelsey Breann Bare, Jason Whitson Marshall, Abby Marshall, Jacob Marshall, Ben Marshall, and Kam Marshall; one brother, Bobby Marshall and his wife Lena; one sister, Jeanie Arnett and her husband Hack; special family members Bud Reed and Norma Jean Neal; and several nieces and nephews. The family of Mr. Jerry Marshall, Sr. will receive friends from 7 to 8 PM Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. The funeral service will follow in the North Chapel at 8 PM. Pastor Richard Smith will officiate. The committal service will be conducted at 12:30 PM Friday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12 PM Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
