Jessie Hazel Brown

Jessie Hazel Brown, 84, of 245 Furnace Road, Johnson City, died Sunday, November 27, 2005, at her residence. She was a native and lifelong Washington County resident. Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late Robert and Julie Fletcher McInturff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Brown. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Nora Human, Eva Lutrell and Myrtle Canton; and two brothers, Bill McInturff and Homer Lee Brown. She was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include three daughters, Wanda Owens, Helen Murray and Shirley Casey; three sons, Bill Brown, John Brown and Jim Brown; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 PM Wednesday from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Delmar Owens, pastor, will officiate. Burial services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday from the Limestone Free Will Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Owens, Willie Tipton, Skipper Arnett, George Owens, Eddie Yakley and Tony Casey. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 1:00 Thursday and proceed to the cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday.
