Jewell Daniels Lane

Mrs. Jewell Daniels Lane, 98, Watauga, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Agape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly Asbury Place. She was the daughter of the late Fred Samuel and Clara Riggs Daniels. Mrs. Lane retired from the Post Office in Watauga. She was a member of Tacoma Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George 'Dudd'? Lane; three sisters, Isabel Williams, Frances Torbett, and Evelyn Alison; and her brother, Sam Daniels. She is survived by her sister, Freddie Lee Henley and her husband Rudy, of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Shirley Daniels, of Johnson City; and several nieces and nephews. The family of Mrs. Jewell Daniels Lane will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The graveside committal service will follow at 11:30 AM in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pastor Rick Ballard will officiate.
