Jill Larose Peeks

Mrs. Jill LaRose Payne Peeks, 53, 905 Charway Drive, Johnson City, died Thursday, April 23, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Peeks was a lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Lorraine Bish Payne. Mrs. Peeks was a registered nurse for Mountain States Health Alliance at the Johnson City Medical Center for 30 years. Survivors include: her husband, Lanny Peeks of Johnson City; two sons, Dustin Peeks of Johnson City and Kaleb Peeks of the home; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Carrie Payne of Illinois; a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Lon Reed of Jonesborough. A graveside service for Mrs. Peeks will be conducted at 10 AM Tuesday April 28, 2009 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Rev. Michael Pelham will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 9:45 AM to go in procession. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road Suite 102, Johnson City, Tn. 37601.
