Jill Lilley Gage, 84, treasured mother, grandmother and great grandmother, most recently of Johnson City, TN, passed away peacefully on May 29th, 2022.
Born in Piney Flats, TN, she was the beloved daughter of the late Roy E. Lilley and Nadine Allison Lilley. She was a 1955 graduate of Elizabethton High School, and a 1957 graduate of University of TN-Memphis. She practiced dental hygiene for 50 years in the Tri Cities area as the only hygienist many patients would see until she retired in 2008. She loved spending time with, and cooking for her family, traveling, shopping, and attending church. She was a long-time member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Kingsport, TN. She was kind to everyone and precious to so many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Survivors include: four children, Alicia Culbertson, of Gray, TN, Mark Gage, of Kingsport TN, John Gage, of Sevierville, TN, and Crystal Dixon and husband Paul Dixon, of Somerville, TN;
nine grandchildren, Bailey Childers (Larry Childers), Nathan Gage, Alden Gage, Nicole Allnutt (Shawn Allnutt), River Bryant (Matt Bryant), Lilley Dixon, Jake Dixon, Avery Dixon and Sadie Dixon; three great grandchildren, Lucas Allnutt, Keeley Allnutt, and Baillie Childers; one brother, Jack Lilley and wife Brenda, of Paris, Illinois; two nieces, Jackie Victorson and Demmeree Li; and several cousins and special friends.
Mass will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
