Joe H. Zeoli, 80, of 610 Hamilton Street, Johnson City, died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at the Northside Hospital following an illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City, son of the late Guiseppi and Mary Miller Zeoli. Joe was a veteran of WWII having served in the U. S. Navy. He was a retired employee of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and belonged to the Keystone Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Zeoli, a grandson, Coby Zeoli and a brother, Nickola Zeoli. Survivors include: his wife, Naomi Katherine Ellenburg Zeoli of the home; four sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Carolyn Zeoli of Telford, Dennis and Phyllis Zeoli of Johnson City, Alvin and Bobbie Zeoli of Johnson City and Teddy and Doris Zeoli of Elizabethton; four grandsons, Timothy Zeoli of Johnson City, Tony Zeoli of Johnson City, Matthew Zeoli of Johnson City and Travis Zeoli of Chase, VA; two granddaughters, Dawn Zeoli and Portia South both of Johnson City; two great grandchildren. A funeral is scheduled for Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Keystone Free Will Baptist Church at 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Rev. Bill Greer. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight. A committal service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the Mt. Home National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be men of the church. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
