Joe Lundy

Joe Connor Lundy, 81, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at Signature Healthcare of Elizabethton. He was the son of Connor Ruskin and Kathryn Druett Lundy. A lover of knowledge, Joe spent a fair amount of his life going to school in both the capacity of student and of teacher. He achieved a master?s degree in Mathematics and his PhD in Computer Science, which he used at various colleges and universities to impart this knowledge to future generations. Alongside Joe?s love for learning was his faithfulness to the Lord and his fondness for playing the harmonica. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, James Lundy. Joe is survived by one son, Greg Vick; one daughter, Penny Ogletree, and her husband Paul; one brother, Dan Lundy; and two grandchildren, Samantha and Ethan Vick.
