Joetta Fehr Wilch

Joetta Fehr Wilch, 80, of Johnson City, TN and Fostoria, OH died on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 at her daughter?s residence in Johnson City TN with her three children in her company. She was born on April 10, 1935, in Delphene, Jackson Township, PA to the late Donnis and James Anderson. She graduated from Waynesburg High School in 1953. She married the late Frederick P. Wilch on February 23, 1957. Joetta is survived by her son, Brian (Jennette) Wilch of Hudson, OH; her daughters: Lisa (Gregg) Bauer of Angola, IN and Nancy Harvey of Johnson City, TN; brother Gilmer Anderson, and sister: Justine (Carroll) Neff, grandchildren: Derek, Lucas, Jacob, Lesli, Tyler, Austin and Andy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson, Alexx Bauer. She took great pride in her work as an elementary school secretary with Fostoria City Schools. She also worked at the Findlay Mall, JC Penney Store. Joetta enjoyed singing in choirs at Hope Lutheran (Fostoria) and Grace Lutheran (Fremont) Churches, trying new recipes, gardening, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. A committal service will be held at 2:00 pm for the immediate family on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Knollcrest Cemetery in Arcadia, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Larry Knigga from Hope Lutheran Church presiding. Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Steuben Community Foundation, c/o Fourever Friends Scholarship, 1701 N. Wayne Street, Angola, IN 46703, the Alzheimers Foundation of America (AFA) or the Johnson City Medical Center Hospice in Tennessee.
