John Franklin Frank Campbell, Jr.

June 20, 1939 — April 16, 2015

John Franklin ?Frank' Campbell, Jr., 75 of Johnson City, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Washington County, son of the late John Franklin and Mary Allen Campbell, Sr. Frank was a retired supervisor for the United Telephone Company (Sprint). He was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church and the Johnson City Lodge F&AM #486 and the Jericho Shrine. He served in the Tennessee National Guard. Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Virginia ?Jenny' McKinney Campbell of the home; a sister, Pat Luchtman and her husband Kevin of St. Claires Shore, Michigan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Oak Chapel of the Morris ? Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Mike Richards. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm. A procession will follow the service to Eden Cemetery for a committal service. Active pallbearers will be: Sam and Jesse Collins, Butch Taylor, Marc Keene, O. J. Roberson and Don Dunbar. Honorary pallbearers will be: Danny Beckett, Fred Gouge, Larry Krell, Roy and Ron McKinney, and members of the Johnson City Lodge #486. Memorials may be made to his church at: Pinecrest Baptist Church, 2129 Old Lewis Road, Johnson City, TN 37601.
